Ribeira Do Louro High School Visit

We have enjoyed the visit of the students of #IES_Ribeira_DoLouro, 45 people who have visited the Terminal, the PIF, and the ships of Davila Reefer Terminal; the girls and boys are students of International Trade and we have seen much interest and we love when a visit serves for greater knowledge in the future experts of #Logistics and #Comercio_Internacional, with a magnificent preparation of their teachers, as Lorena Abreu Lopez.

Visit from the University of Vigo to Termavi

We were visited by students of International Trade Master and SME Management at Vigo University. They were well-prepared young people who learned about our Terminal facilities, and the BIP (border inspection post), accompanied by their teacher Pablo Cabanelas. They were very attentive and asked many questions. They were interested in all the processes and learned firsthand about the Terminal's activities. It was a pleasure to meet them!

Visit from IES Carballo High School

The Port of Vigo brought us the visit of the IES Alfredo Brañas de Carballo High School. 34 students and their teachers came to our Container Terminal to learn about #Port Logistics and #Transport. They were attentive, amazed, and grateful. We agreed to meet again next year. Thank you for sharing your learning day about Port of Vigo with our Terminal.  You are always welcome!

The President of the Galician Confederation of Entrepreneurs, Juan Manuel Vieites, visited Davila Reefer Terminal, Transglobal, and Termavi, accompanied by the Confederation's Secretary and Director of Communications. He took an interest in everything: the Terminal, the railway, and the activity of the DART refrigerated warehouse.

After the visit, we watched Termavi's institutional video and discussed various aspects of the activities carried out in Galicia by the different companies of the Group. Later we attended a working lunch scheduled at the Circulo de Empresarios de Galicia where the President of the CEG made a brilliant analysis of the Galician business situation, of the challenges that await us in 2023 and 2024, with a display of extensive socioeconomic data before more than 70 businessmen who attended his presentation.

Visit from Ceamsa to our Terminal

Members of the staff of Ceamsa, a company specializing in textures with gelling, thickening, and stabilizing properties from natural raw materials, came to visit Termavi accompanied by Altius colleagues. They visited us once before, and on this second visit, they brought people who had not been to Termavi before.

Compañía Española de Algas Marinas (CEAMSA) was founded in 1966. It is a pioneer company specialized in the production, processing, and worldwide marketing of natural hydrocolloids such as carrageenan, pectin, fiber, alginate, or locust bean gum, which are characterized, among other things, by their stabilizing, gelling, thickening, or texturizing properties.

Visit from IES Ramón Menéndez Pidal High School

The girls and boys of IES Ramón Menéndez Pidal High School visited us eager to learn about the Terminal. They traveled from Zalaeta, A Coruña, 24 students who got to see the operation of the Terminal, thus learning more about the importance of Logistics in the Container Terminal of the Port of Vigo. We hope to see them again next year!

Visit to Termavi from Pontepedriña High School

The IES Pontepedriña  is a High Scool in Santiago de Compostela. Their Logistics and Transport students come to visit us regularly.  On this occasion, 32 young people came to our Terminal to learn firsthand about our work, accompanied by 5 of their teachers. They were very attentive and they presented us with a craft painting in appreciation.

If all future logistics experts have the same interest you showed during the visit, logistics will probably be in good hands in the near future.  Thank you very much for your visit!

Visit from students enrolled in Continuing Education

The Pontevedra Entrepreneurs Confederation organizes courses on different disciplines and activities, and students enrolled in those courses just came to visit our Terminal. They were a large group who learned about our Terminal procedures, DART, and the railway area, in short, the whole intermodal center of Grupo Davila's Industrial Division in Galicia. It was a pleasant visit where personnel from the Port of Vigo joined in, and where students learned in detail what is done at the Terminal.

Students showed a keen interest in learning about all processes and the history of Grupo Davila.
